On Sunday, March 8, Nic and I had the special opportunity to dedicate Sadie at church. For more information about baby dedication go HERE. It was such a sweet time!
Sadie wore a sweet outfit that I bought at a consignment sale (right after we found out we were having a girl!) and one of MY baby sweaters and my baby jewelry. And no Sadie outfit is complete without a big, beautiful bow!
Both sets of grandparents were in attendance, as well as Uncle Tyler, Aunt Abby, and Uncle Ducky (Blake). Pastor Don did Sadie's dedication which was really special to us! I have known Don and his wife Donna my whole life and they have cared for my family so well. I have so many awesome memories of them loving on me and showing me how to love with a Christ like love. They stood alongside my parents in raising me and my 3 brothers and now will stand alongside Nic and me as we raise our family! (Also, Don and Donna did pre marital counseling with Nic and me and it was SO fun! On May 25, 2013, Don married Nic and me in from of 300+ of our favorite people. The best day ever.)
May we be the hands and feet of Jesus for Sadie. We want to love her with grace and compassion and teach her to love God and others before herself. We hope she grows to know that she is special and created with great purpose. Jesus loves you sweet Sadie and Mommy and Daddy do, too!
